Barbie is inherently linked to fashion. Over the years, she was dressed by the biggest style creators, like Oscar De La Renta, Karl Lagerfeld, and Christian Louboutin. Barbie is synonymous with fashion, and her latest incarnation, Barbie Extra, draws inspiration from current trends, making her constantly relevant.

The Barbie Extra product line allows children to experiment with fashion and discover their own style through play. However, it also resonates with adult audiences – brand enthusiasts and fashion lovers. Therefore, in the second phase of the campaign launching this line on the Polish market, we focused on this particular target audience.

In light of the first announcements of the "Barbie" movie and the barbiecore trend, endorced by celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Hailey Bieber, we prepared a lookbook-style photoshoot showcasing the bold style of Barbie Extra dolls as the hottest summer trends

Barbie Extra dolls in photos that eerily resemble real models and editorial photoshoots in fashion magazines were featured in a social media campaign targeted at adults. To complement the communication, we engaged popular Polish fashion influencers: Ania Lewandowska, Iga “Ofelia” Kreft, and Julia Wieniawa, who interpreted the style of their favorite dolls and shared their barbiecore outfits with fans on Instagram.
